C) You're lost on the internet (Fret not! You'll find your way out eventually!)
I am leaving on a mission. In 2 days. No biggie. Yeahh..
I'm just gonna let that settle in for a second.

K. Now that I've restarted my heart let me tell you a little about myself and my mission!
My name is Alyssa! I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for 18 months in Jacksonville Florida!! *cue confetti, kittens, cupcakes, leprechauns, a black lady gospel choir, national anthem, Florida flag falls in the background and I shoot out of a cannon*
I'm gonna have my family upload my emails here so you can hear alllll about my lovely adventures!
Just a little bit about Jacksonville, FL: (compliments of Wikipedia)
-It is the largest city in Florida
-It's been inhabited for thousands of years
-It has alligators
-It has a blue bridge
-There is no such thing as winter in Florida (cries tears of joy)
-Is at risk for Hurricanes. NBD. (No big deal)
-You have to swim places because the humidity is so high. Ha.
-I'll be serving a mission there. (Yes, wikipedia said that... cough)

As you can see by this lovely bad quality map that I stole from the internet... I will also be serving in Georgia! Yaaay for Georgia!!!
I am so SO excited to serve a mission. And although I feel like I'm borderline insane because of how overly emotional I've been within the last few days (Music makes me cry, puppies make me cry, Toast makes me cry, brushing my teeth also makes me cry) I can honestly say I would rather be no where else on earth than in Jacksonville, Florida. It is the mission for me! I can't wait to get to serve the people there and to get to know them. If I do nothing else on my mission, I wish to bring hope to the people I come into contact with. That is my mission! Ha.
I know that the Church of Jesus Christ is the true church! I love it with every ounce of my being! I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures and I hope to hear all about yours! I love you all! Thank you so much for all your loves and support!!
